Developing inland fisheries
More than 1,000 continental fishermen have improved their fishing techniques, and new local regulations are reducing overfishing and pollution of the lakes. The role of women in the processing and marketing of fishery products has been recognized and integrated into the fish chains.
Our lessons in 10 years of action
ACED has faced challenges of different nature and magnitude that have impacted on the organization’s ability to create sustainable change in the food and nutrition security sector. In managing these challenges, many lessons have been learned, which we have documented.
