Food Business final conference

NWO-WOTRO and the Food & Business Knowledge Platform organize on 9 and 10 December 2020 the final Food & Business Research Conference on the theme “Scaling Insights for Sustainable Food Systems”. The conference will take place in The Hague, and other participants will also join the conference online.

The NWO-WOTRO Food & Business Research Programme (F&B) aims at addressing persistent food security challenges in low and middle income countries. This final conference will bring together project-level insights and outcomes in order to identify commonalities and create coherence, and ultimately to enlarge the impact of all research results.

Our Director, Frejus Thoto and Sietze Vellema of Wageningen University and research will give a dual keynote on the theme “ Making knowledge relevant for food and nutrition security – reflections and ways forward” on Thursday 10 December 2020 at 12:45 (CET)

Our colleague Donald Houessou will make a co-presentation with Ben Sonneveld of Amsterdam centre for World Food Studies Thursday 10 December  14:00 – 15:15 hrs (CET) on the theme : Diversification of the fork using local foods: Lessons learned on the impacts and pathways from various contexts

Our colleagues will share reflections and lessons learned on food and nutrition security
